Private villa - Busto Arsizio, Italy

The owners' strong desire to live peacefully in a house that reminded them of an old village dwelling on the Sienese hills was fulfilled in this renovation of a textile building set in an urban context in Busto Arsizio.

The renovated house no longer resembles the old family factory as the architects Elena Cagnoni Luoni and Andrea Bollazzi added a floor and completely changed the interior spaces.

In order to emphasize this new aspect of the building, the facades were completely covered with earth tones exposed stone while inside the choice of materials fell on stone, terracotta or wood and small touches of strong colors with more innovative materials such as resins.
